Qualification Required: Bachelor’s / Masters degree, in Computer Science.

Experience: 10+ years.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop critical roadmap features
• Operates and performs maintenance for services running within the region
• Mentoring & guiding Junior engineers
• Collaborating well with stakeholder teams
• Deploys code and implements other changes within the region
• Solves problems operational issues on behalf of service teams
• Ensures timely resolution and documentation of incidents through bridges
• Monitors the region for faults, alarms, and other errors. Informs internal teams as required through process and procedure.
  
  

What You Will Actually Do In This Role

In this role, you will work as a senior individual contributor, owning critical components of a large-scale cloud platform. Your daily responsibilities will include designing backend services, reviewing architecture decisions, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring production systems remain stable and scalable. You will collaborate closely with global teams and play a key role in building reliable SaaS solutions for Oracle Cloud.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency full stack development experience in Java along with frameworks drop-wizard/spring , React / Angular, JavaScript, CSS
• Strong expertise in architecting distributed, scalable and highly available systems is essential
• Design, develop, and operationalise highly available and scalable cloud software systems
• Master cloud and multi-tenancy concepts, distributed systems, database, and cloud service development
• Become experienced in creating micro-services and REST APIs
• Monitoring of Cloud systems
• Experience in distributed cache management such as Redis
• Familiarity with code versioning tools Git, Bitbucket
• Experience on Cloud technologies such as AWS/Oracle Cloud/Azure/Google Cloud/VMWare
• Experience in solving complex software and/or networking issues
• Proven ability to quickly learn new technical domains and then train others
• Great verbal and written communication skills
• Solid understanding of software development best practices
• Proficiency in Docker for containerization and deployment
• Hands-on experience with Bitbucket for version control and collaboration
• Frontend development experience using ReactJS
