Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Partner Account Manager role based in Chennai. The Partner Account Manager will manage relationships with channel partners and distributors, acting as a primary point of contact for sales, product, and program-related queries. Responsibilities include driving revenue growth through partner sales motions, enabling partners on Lenovo’s portfolio, and executing joint business plans and campaigns. The role involves regularly reviewing performance with partners, forecasting pipeline, optimizing deal registrations, and ensuring partners have the tools, training, and support needed to succeed. The Partner Account Manager will also collaborate closely with internal sales, marketing, and technical teams to align strategies, resolve issues, and deliver an excellent partner experience.
Qualifications
- Strong relationship management and account management skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term engagement with partners.
- Experience in channel sales, partner management, or business development, preferably within IT, hardware, or technology solutions.
- Proficiency in sales pipeline management, forecasting, and using CRM tools to track opportunities and performance.
- Ability to understand and articulate technology solutions, with a solid grasp of PC, infrastructure, or related product portfolios.
- Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the capability to interpret sales data and identify growth opportunities.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai, collaborate cross-functionally, and manage multiple partner accounts and priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent experience is an advantage.
- Prior experience working with distributors, resellers, or system integrators in the Indian market is highly beneficial.
