Partnerships Associate

As Skydo continues to expand in India and globally, we are looking to hire a Payments Partnerships Associate in Bangalore. The Banking & Payment Infrastructure team is responsible for working closely with multiple banks and payment service providers to enable cross-border payment rails for our customers. This individual will focus on building new payment rails and infrastructure for Skydo’s global expansion.

This role will drive long-term, strategic product and partnership decisions that impact Skydo’s core business directly.

What you will do:

• Own external relationships: Manage rails with new partners such as banks and payment companies globally. You will work directly with partners and be responsible for adding new use-cases with them.
• Build new payment rails/capabilities: You will own the end-to-end process from identifying potential banks/payment partners, managing the partner selection process and working with the chosen partner on onboarding.
• Work closely with Product & Tech teams to finalize the product and experience for the customer. You will also work closely with internal legal and compliance teams, as well as external law firms and consultants, on matters related to setting up the new rails.
• Subject matter expert on global rails (account-to-account rails, SWIFT, cards) and fund flows, along with a good understanding of the regulatory landscape in India and other markets relevant to Skydo’s product.
• Drive cross-functional alignment with Product, Engineering, Legal, Operations, Risk, Finance and others to get things done.

You're a good fit if you have:

• Strong academic record with overall 3–6 years of relevant experience in payments, either at a fintech company or a bank
• Strong partnership orientation with experience working with banks, or large PSPs.
• Strong understanding of Indian payments and regulatory landscape
• Self-starter with excellent prioritisation and time management skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, including compliance, legal, product, operations, and engineering.
• Analytical and execution-driven, with the ability to translate strategic goals into structured plans and milestones
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous, and early-stage environments.
