Role Description
This full-time, on-site Pediatric Occupational Therapist role is based in the Mohali district.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate children's motor skills, sensory processing and activities of daily living.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, incorporating therapeutic activities to enhance fine motor skills, sensory integration, coordination, and self-care abilities.
• Provide therapeutic interventions using evidence-based practices to improve functional abilities and independence in children.
• Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to therapy and continuity of care.
• Monitor and document progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team and stakeholders.
• Educate families and caregivers on strategies and techniques to support children's development and promote carryover of therapeutic goals in home and educational settings.
• Stay updated with advancements in pediatric occupational therapy through continuous learning and professional development activities.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• State licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a clinical or educational setting.
• Strong understanding of child development, sensory integration, and various therapeutic approaches.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach and a genuine interest in improving the lives of children and their families.
