Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pharma Injectables (Sterile) Plant Production Manager based in Bahadurgarh. The Production Manager will oversee end-to-end sterile injectable manufacturing operations, including planning, scheduling, and execution of production batches in compliance with GMP and regulatory guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing production teams, monitoring aseptic processes, coordinating with quality assurance and maintenance, and ensuring adherence to SOPs and safety standards. The role involves optimizing production capacity, reducing downtime, managing inventory of raw materials and packaging components, and supporting validation and qualification activities. The Production Manager will also maintain documentation, support audits and inspections, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and train team members on best practices in sterile manufacturing.
Qualifications
  • Extensive experience (around 10 years) in sterile injectables manufacturing, with proven responsibility for plant or production management.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, WHO guidelines, aseptic processing, cleanroom operations, and regulatory compliance for injectable products.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise production teams, allocate resources effectively, and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Proficiency in production planning, process optimization, troubleshooting, and coordination with quality, maintenance, and supply chain functions.
  • Solid documentation skills, including preparation and review of SOPs, batch manufacturing records, deviation reports, and CAPA implementation.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external auditors or regulatory bodies.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Bahadurgarh and adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
