About the Role

We are seeking a Physician (MD) (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on clinical reasoning, diagnostic decision-making, evidence-based medicine, medical documentation, and AI-generated healthcare content evaluation.

In this role, you will evaluate AI-generated clinical assessments, differential diagnoses, treatment recommendations, medical summaries, discharge documentation, and patient education materials. Your expertise will help improve AI systems designed for clinical decision support, healthcare research, and medical AI applications.

This position is ideal for licensed Medical Doctors (MD) with experience in clinical practice, internal medicine, family medicine, emergency medicine, hospital medicine, or other medical specialties.

Responsibilities

• Create deliverables addressing real-world clinical and medical reasoning scenarios.
• Annotate and evaluate AI-generated clinical notes, diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, discharge summaries, and medical documentation.
• Assess AI outputs for clinical accuracy, evidence-based recommendations, patient safety, and medical reasoning.
• Review patient histories, physical examination findings, laboratory results, imaging studies, and clinical documentation.
• Evaluate AI-generated differential diagnoses, diagnostic workups, medication recommendations, treatment plans, referrals, and follow-up care.
• Review discharge summaries, consultation notes, progress notes, prescriptions, and patient care instructions for completeness and medical accuracy.
• Assess AI-generated medical content against established clinical guidelines, standard-of-care practices, and evidence-based medicine.
• Identify clinical inaccuracies, unsafe recommendations, hallucinations, unsupported conclusions, documentation errors, and inconsistencies.
• Provide structured feedback to improve AI performance in clinical reasoning, medical documentation, and healthcare decision support.
• Review peer-developed deliverables to maintain quality and consistency standards.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD), MBBS with MD/MS/DNB, or equivalent medical qualification recognized in the candidate's practicing jurisdiction.
• Active medical license/registration in the applicable country or state is strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of hands-on clinical experience as a practicing physician in a hospital, clinic, academic medical center, or healthcare organization.
• Evaluating patients through history-taking, physical examination, and clinical assessment.
• Interpreting laboratory investigations, diagnostic imaging, ECGs, pathology reports, and other clinical findings.
• Developing differential diagnoses and evidence-based treatment plans.
• Drafting and reviewing discharge summaries, consultation reports, clinical notes, prescriptions, and referral documentation.
• Applying national and international clinical guidelines in patient management.
• Reviewing AI-generated medical content for clinical accuracy, patient safety, and guideline adherence.
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR/EMR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical thinking, clinical judgment, and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated healthcare outputs for medical accuracy, safety, and practical applicability.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Board certification or specialty training in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Pediatrics, Cardiology, Neurology, Oncology, Pulmonology, Endocrinology, Infectious Diseases, Critical Care, or other recognized specialties.
• Experience in clinical research, medical education, healthcare quality, utilization review, medical affairs, clinical documentation improvement (CDI), or AI-assisted healthcare projects.
• Familiarity with ICD-10, SNOMED CT, CPT coding, clinical guidelines, and healthcare quality standards.
• Experience reviewing AI-generated medical content, benchmark datasets, or clinical evaluation workflows.
• Certifications such as ACLS, BLS, ATLS, or specialty board certifications are highly desirable.
