Job Title: Podcast Editor (Remote – Full-Time)

Experience Required: Minimum 2–3 years in video/audio editing (podcast/long-form preferred)

Compensation: ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month (based on experience & portfolio quality)

Medical Centric is a fast-growing health-education media brand creating long-form podcasts and short-form content watched by millions. We sit at the intersection of medicine, storytelling, and digital media—and we’re looking for a Podcast Editor who can turn raw conversations into engaging, binge-worthy episodes and social clips.

• Edit long-form podcast episodes (video + audio) for YouTube and audio platforms.
• Cut 10–20 short clips per episode for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and other platforms.
• Clean up audio (basic noise reduction, EQ, balancing levels) for clear, professional sound.
• Add subtitles/captions, basic graphics, and transitions (no heavy VFX required).
• Collaborate with the host, creative director, and thumbnail team to finalize each episode.
• Organize project files, maintain version control, and meet weekly publishing deadlines.

• Proven experience editing podcasts, talk shows, or long-form YouTube content.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve / Final Cut Pro (any one is fine, more is a plus).
• Good understanding of storytelling, pacing, and what makes conversations “hooky” for YouTube.
• Ability to create clean, readable subtitles and export in multiple aspect ratios (16:9, 9:16, 1:1).
• Basic knowledge of audio enhancement (noise reduction, compression, EQ) is required.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to take feedback, and consistency with deadlines.
• A showreel/portfolio with podcast or long-form edits + a few short-form clips is mandatory.
