Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Procurement Engineer – Heavy Fabrication – Metal role based in Noida. The role involves identifying and developing suppliers for heavy fabrication and metal components, evaluating supplier capabilities, and ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and delivery requirements. Daily responsibilities include preparing and managing requests for quotation (RFQs), negotiating pricing and terms, and issuing purchase orders for fabricated metal parts and assemblies. The Procurement Engineer will collaborate closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to align procurement specifications with design and manufacturing needs. The role also includes monitoring supplier performance, resolving supply issues, optimizing procurement processes, and supporting cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications

• Strong supplier management capabilities, including Supplier Evaluation and experience in heavy fabrication and metal component sourcing.
• Procurement operations skills covering Purchase Orders and Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes.
• Well-developed Analytical Skills for cost analysis, bid comparison, and supplier performance assessment.
• Effective Communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Hands-on experience in fabrication drawings, material specifications (steel, alloys), and manufacturing processes such as welding, cutting, and machining.
• Familiarity with ERP or procurement management systems and basic knowledge of inventory control.
• Ability to work on-site in Noida, manage multiple projects, and meet timelines in a fast-paced industrial environment.
