What you’ll do

We are seeking a senior engineering manager to establish, mentor and lead the engineering team to achieve our organisational goals. The role involves close collaboration with customers, internal teams, and suppliers to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions, particularly in RF FAKRA cable assemblies, data connector systems and HV & LV automotive connectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the development and engineering support for our manufactured range of RF & data connector assemblies such as FAKRA, Ethernet & RF connectors, along with electro-component solutions such as HV & LV connectors and automotive fuses from our global partner companies.
• Work closely with the engineering teams of automotive OEMs to understand their design requirements and standards and translate these into robust product offerings.
• Provide technical support to the business development team by managing the projects across design, validation, and product approval stages and working closely with the engineering teams of our global partners.
• Ensure adherence to automotive product development processes and timelines.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including product specifications, application notes, and validation reports.

Who you are

Strong technical foundation

Candidates should have a degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.

Relevant experience

You should have 12+ years’ experience in automotive electronics, wire harnesses, or related components.

Automotive Wiring Harness Design & Development Expertise

Deep knowledge of harness architecture, routing, materials, validation standards, and OEM requirements across the full product lifecycle.

R&D Strategy & Product Engineering Management

Strong capability in setting up and scaling R&D functions, driving innovation, and managing product development from concept to SOP.

Project Lifecycle & Downtime Optimization

Expertise in end-to-end project management, including downtime reduction, risk assessment, resource planning, and adherence to timelines, cost, and quality metrics.

Engineering Documentation & Process Compliance

Proficiency in managing technical documentation, change control, and ensuring compliance with industry standards (APQP, PPAP, ISO/IATF) from prototype through production.
