Job Summary

The Production Assistant will support the Production Supervisor in coordinating daily production activities and maintaining accurate production documentation. The role involves preparing panel QR codes, monitoring panel movements, managing production records, preparing checklists, and issuing drawings to technicians to ensure efficient production operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Production Supervisor in daily production and documentation activities.
  • Prepare and manage panel QR codes and identification labels.
  • Monitor and record panel inward and outward movements.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, panel status, and material movements.
  • Prepare production checklists and ensure their availability for production teams.
  • Print and issue approved drawings and related documents to technicians.
  • Maintain proper document control and filing systems.
  • Ensure all production records are updated, organized, and readily accessible.
  • Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and Stores departments regarding documentation requirements.
  • Assist in preparing production reports and status updates.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures for record keeping and document management.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Production Supervisor.

Qualifications

  • BE or Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) is mandatory.
  • 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, panel-building, or production environment is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Basic understanding of electrical control panels and production processes.
  • Ability to read and identify engineering drawings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
