Job Overview: We are a leading modular office furniture company seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee and optimize our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should have 5 to 10 years of experience in the office furniture industry, with a proven track record of success in managing production teams, ensuring quality control, and driving efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to streamline factory operations.
  • Oversee the end-to-end production process to ensure timely and quality output.
  • Screen, recruit, and train new factory workers.
  • Collaborate with quality control managers to establish and execute quality control processes.
  • Ensure factory machinery is in good working order and coordinate maintenance.
  • Analyze production data to identify and resolve any production issues.
  • Prepare and submit production reports to key decision-makers.
  • Regularly inspect finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards.
  • Motivate factory workers to continually achieve stretch targets.
  • Implement best practices to improve productivity, reduce waste, and maintain cost efficiency.
  • Manage and lead production teams, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with design, procurement, and logistics teams for seamless operations.

 

 

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 5 to 10 years of proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a office furniture factory.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in production, inventory management, and quality control.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and industry-specific factory equipment.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management, analytical, and communication skills.
