Role - Python Developers

Type - contract

Duration - 18 months but contract will be spilt into six month terms for compliance

Number of Openings- 15

Location - must be in Pune or Bangalore

Start - early August

Responsibilities

• Build extract and load scripts to provide data feeds from the patch and RSU (remote service unit) maintenance databases to the central database
• Create process to extract data for central team reports (format to be confirmed)
• Build extract and load process for vendor data feeds reporting
• Build daily reporting summary process for management reviews
• Assist with the automation of process flows and tracking as they are defined through the project

Required skills

• A minimum of seven years of scripting experience
• Python expertise
• Python automation scripting experience
• Unix/Linux Admin experience
• GiT and Jenkins knowledge

Desired skills

• Z/Python experience
• ZOWE API Mediation Layer experience
• z/OSMF experience
• Postgres database experience preferred
• z/OS and USS knowledge

Responsibilities - automate storage pool monitoring/actions for production

Required Skills and Experience

• A minimum of ten years of Python scripting expertise
• Python automation scripting experience with experience in IBM DS8k and VTS storage
• Experience in python development for storage,
• Python automation for z/OS including REXX
• GiT and Jenkins knowledge
• REXX/JCL programming knowledge preferred
