QA Automation Engineer

Position Summary

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer II to join a team focused on delivering high-quality enterprise applications. This role is ideal for someone with a strong QA automation background who also possesses backend development knowledge and can work independently on complex projects with minimal oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites for backend applications.
• Build and execute automated test cases to validate application functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Create, maintain, and analyze QA reports and test metrics.
• Partner closely with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to identify and resolve defects.
• Support testing efforts for Spring Boot-based applications and backend services.
• Validate data integrity and perform backend testing using SQL queries.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements review, test planning, execution, and release validation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, automation coverage, and testing methodologies.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in QA Automation Engineering.
• Knowledge of backend application development and testing.
• Experience working with Spring Boot applications.
• Understanding of AWS cloud services and cloud-based applications.
• Ability to work independently on complex projects with limited supervision.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• SQL knowledge and database testing experience.
• Experience creating and maintaining automated testing reports and dashboards.
• Familiarity with enterprise-scale applications and Agile development environments.
