The Quality Engineering (QE) Practice is a strategic pillar of Aspire's engineering portfolio, enabling customers to build quality into every stage of the software lifecycle through modern engineering practices, intelligent automation, AI-driven testing, and continuous quality assurance.
Role Overview
Aspire Systems is looking for an experienced Quality Engineering Practice Manager to lead the strategic evolution and market positioning of its Quality Engineering Practice.
This is a technical leadership role responsible for shaping the practice's offerings, driving innovation, strengthening market differentiation, enabling sales, developing reusable intellectual property, fostering strategic partnerships, and building Aspire's brand as a leader in modern Quality Engineering.
The ideal leader combines deep Quality Engineering expertise with strong business acumen and a passion for innovation.
They will work closely with executive leadership, sales, delivery, consulting group, technology partners, and customers to build differentiated solutions that drive growth and create long-term business value.
Key Responsibilities
Practice Strategy & Growth
- Define and execute the strategic roadmap for the Quality Engineering Practice aligned with Aspire's business objectives and market opportunities.
- Continuously assess industry trends, customer expectations, and competitive positioning to identify new growth areas.
- Drive practice differentiation through innovative services, methodologies, and technology adoption.
- Support business growth by enabling scalable, profitable, and customer-centric Quality Engineering solutions.
Service Offering Development
- Develop and continuously enhance Aspire's portfolio of QE services across Functional Testing, Test Automation, Performance Engineering, Security Testing, Accessibility Testing, Cloud Testing, API Testing, Mobile Testing, AI-powered Testing, Test Data Management, and emerging quality engineering disciplines.
- Define value propositions, service packages, commercial models, and go-to-market strategies for each offering.
- Build industry and domain-specific Quality Engineering solutions tailored to key verticals.
Solutioning & Presales Excellence
- Lead solution strategy for strategic opportunities, large pursuits, RFPs, RFIs, and transformation engagements.
- Collaborate with sales, delivery, and engineering teams to design scalable, commercially competitive, and technically robust solutions.
- Develop estimation approaches, staffing strategies, transition models, and implementation roadmaps.
- Participate in executive customer presentations, workshops, and solution discussions as the Quality Engineering subject matter expert.
Innovation, IP & Accelerators
- Drive the creation of reusable frameworks, automation assets, accelerators, reference architectures, and AI-enabled Quality Engineering soluttions.
- Establish governance for IP development, lifecycle management, adoption, and continuous improvement.
- Measure business impact through increased delivery efficiency, improved quality, faster implementation, and enhanced customer value.
- Custom Engagement Partner with strategic customers to understand their Quality Engineering transformation journeys and business priorities.
- Translate customer challenges into innovative and outcome-driven Quality Engineering solutions.
- Capture customer feedback and market insights to continuously refine practice offerings
- Support executive governance and strategic advisory engagements where required.
Thought Leadership & Market Positioning
- Build Aspire's external visibility by creating high-quality whitepapers, industry perspectives, blogs, analyst briefings, case studies, and technical publications.
- Represent Aspire at conferences, technology forums, webinars, podcasts, customer events, and industry communities.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop compelling sales collateral, campaign content, solution brochures, presentations, and digital assets.
Strategic Partnerships
- Build and strengthen relationships with technology partners, testing platform vendors, hyperscalers, and ecosystem partners.
- Develop joint go-to-market initiatives, solution offerings, competency programs, and co-branded marketing activities.
- Drive partner certifications and maximize technology investments across the practice.
Practice Enablement
- Mentor and enable solution architects, presales consultants, and delivery leaders on emerging Quality Engineering technologies and best practices.
- Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.
- Define practice standards, methodologies, governance frameworks, and reusable assets to ensure consistency and delivery excellence.
Qualifications & Experience
- 22+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Software Testing, or Quality Assurance within leading IT services or consulting organizations.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in Practice Management, Solution Consulting, Offering Management, Presales, or Technology Consulting.
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling service offerings, reusable IP, frameworks, and solution accelarators.
- Strong expertise across modern QE practices, including Test Automation, Performance Engineering, Security Testing, DevSecOps, CI/CD, AI-assisted Testing, Cloud-native Testing, SRE, and Platform Engineering.
- Proven experience supporting large digital transformation pursuits and strategic customer engagements.
- Excellent communication, executive presentation, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- Experience working with analyst firms, technology partners, and marketing firms will be an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
