The company operates integrated, in-house processes including high pressure die casting, CNC and VMC machining, drilling, tapping, surface treatment, painting, and pressure testing. Role Description The Quality Control Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Haridwar, responsible for overseeing quality assurance across aluminium die-casting, machining, and related sub-processes. This role supervises inspection activities, monitors process parameters, and ensures that all components meet customer specifications and regulatory standards. The Quality Control Manager leads root-cause analyses and 8D problem-solving, implements corrective and preventive actions, and maintains documentation such as control plans, testing reports, and non-conformance records. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with production and dispatch teams, managing quality staff, conducting internal audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The role also involves communicating with OEM and industrial customers on quality-related matters and supporting traceability and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in quality assurance, quality control, and inspection of die-cast and machined components.
- Experience with root-cause analysis, 8D methodology, corrective and preventive actions, and continuous improvement tools (e.g., PDCA, Kaizen).
- Proficiency in using measurement instruments and gauges, interpreting technical drawings, and working with tolerance and GD&T requirements.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as HPDC, CNC/VMC machining, drilling, tapping, surface treatment, and pressure testing.
- Familiarity with quality standards and systems (e.g., ISO 9001 or similar), documentation practices, and internal audit procedures.
- Ability to collaborate with production, planning, and dispatch teams, and to communicate clearly with customers and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing and developing quality teams, including training, performance monitoring, and safety awareness.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field; prior experience in automotive or industrial component manufacturing is highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and readiness to work on-site in a fast-paced production environment.
