About the Role
Global School of Excellence is looking for a Quality Manager – Academics & Operations to oversee the functioning, quality, and systems of two school campuses in Sehore and Raisen.
This is not a routine administrative role. It is a high-responsibility execution role for someone who can act as the bridge between management and school leadership, bring structure to school operations, improve academic quality, and ensure that both schools function with discipline, consistency, and accountability.
The person in this role will be expected to monitor academics, school operations, teaching quality, and systems on a regular basis, while also helping introduce better processes, technology, and teacher development initiatives across both campuses.
Role Purpose
The primary purpose of this role is to raise the quality of education and school functioning across both campuses through:
- Continuous academic and operational monitoring
- Structured reviews and audits
- Teacher training and development
- Better communication and follow-through between management and schools
- Introduction of technology and AI-led improvements where relevant
Key Responsibilities
Academic Quality & School Monitoring
- Monitor both schools regularly across academics, sports, discipline, and general school functioning
- Conduct academic reviews and quality audits to assess:
- Teaching quality
- Learning outcomes
- Curriculum execution
- Classroom standards
- Identify gaps in academic delivery and recommend corrective action
Teacher Development & Training
- Design and deliver teacher training programmes to improve classroom instruction, pedagogy, and overall academic effectiveness
- Observe teaching practices and support teachers in improving classroom quality
- Build accountability and consistency in teaching standards across both campuses
Operations & School Systems
- Monitor school-level operational functioning and identify areas requiring tighter systems and stronger execution
- Improve internal coordination, reporting, and day-to-day school processes
- Help bring structure to school operations where gaps currently exist
Management Coordination & Reporting
- Serve as the primary liaison between management and school leadership/staff
- Ensure follow-up on management priorities and school-level action points
- Share regular updates, issues, observations, and recommendations with management
- Track both academic and operational performance indicators
Technology & Process Improvement
Identify and implement AI tools, systems, and technology interventions that can support:
- Student learning
- Teacher development
- School administration
- Drive process improvements that improve efficiency and school quality
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in school leadership, academic management, school operations, or quality management roles
- Strong understanding of school academics, teaching quality, and operational systems
- Experience working closely with school leadership, teachers, and management
- Ability to handle a multi-campus oversight role with ownership and discipline
Skills Required
- Strong academic review and school monitoring ability
- Teacher training and instructional improvement skills
- Operational oversight and systems thinking
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work directly with management and execute priorities
- Comfort with introducing technology / AI tools in school systems
- High accountability, discipline, and follow-through
Preferred Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who is:
- Structured, observant, and execution-driven
- Comfortable taking ownership across academics + operations
- Able to bring order, discipline, and quality control into school systems
- Strong in follow-up, reporting, and problem-solving
- Capable of working across multiple stakeholders without losing control of details
- Interested in long-term institution building, not just routine school administration
Commitment
- Full-time, on-site role
- Long-term commitment preferred (3–5 years)
- Role involves overseeing two campuses located within ~40 km of Bhopal
Teaching Responsibilities
Teach select subjects across both schools, primarily:
- General Knowledge
- Social Science
