Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor role based in Ahmedabad. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for preparing and reviewing quantity take-offs, bills of quantities (BOQ), and cost estimates for EPC and construction projects. The role involves monitoring project costs, supporting cost planning and budgeting, and assisting in tender preparation, bid evaluations, and contract documentation. The Quantity Surveyor will track and report cost variations, support value engineering initiatives, and collaborate with project managers, engineers, and BIM/VDC teams to ensure accurate, coordinated, and timely commercial information. Daily tasks also include maintaining cost records, contributing to risk assessments related to project finances, and supporting compliance with company standards and client requirements.
Qualifications
  • Cost Control and Cost Management skills to monitor budgets, manage variances, and support financial decision-making.
  • Experience with BOQ preparation and Cost Planning to develop detailed quantities, pricing, and project cost breakdowns.
  • Ability in Cost Reporting to produce periodic cost summaries, forecasts, and variance analyses for stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in quantity surveying software, MS Excel, and relevant cost estimation tools.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and documentation skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of standard methods of measurement, contracts, and industry norms in the AEC sector.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary project and BIM/VDC teams.
  • Prior experience in EPC or construction projects and familiarity with BIM-based workflows is an advantage.
