Role Description This full-time remote Registered Nurse role supports FPT Automotive Career initiatives by providing clinical insight for health, safety, and wellness programs related to automotive workplaces. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting telehealth assessments, reviewing medical information, and advising on employee fitness for duty and occupational health standards. The Registered Nurse will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop health education materials, wellness guidelines, and evidence-based protocols for automotive industry settings. The role also involves monitoring health-related data, documenting clinical observations, and participating in cross-functional meetings to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practices. The nurse is expected to maintain high standards of patient confidentiality, professional ethics, and effective communication in a remote, technology-enabled environment.

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing, with eligibility to practice in relevant jurisdictions; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Clinical experience in occupational health, employee wellness, primary care, or related settings, with strong assessment and triage skills.
  • Proficiency in telehealth or remote-care delivery, including secure electronic documentation, virtual communication tools, and EHR systems.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, infection control, and evidence-based nursing practices applicable to industrial or automotive environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary and cross-cultural teams in a global technology organization.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple cases or projects, and maintain accurate, timely documentation.
  • Comfort with technology and data-driven workflows; experience in using digital platforms to track health metrics and support decision-making is an advantage.
  • Relevant certifications such as Occupational Health Nursing, BLS/ACLS, or other professional credentials are beneficial.
