Role Description The Relationship Manager – Direct Channel at Bajaj Life will focus on acquiring, managing, and growing customer relationships through the direct sales and digital channels. This full-time, on-site role based in Noida involves engaging with prospective and existing customers, understanding their financial protection and investment needs, and recommending suitable Bajaj Life insurance products. The role includes managing the end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation and follow-up to proposal discussion, documentation, and policy issuance, while ensuring high standards of customer experience. The Relationship Manager will coordinate with internal teams for smooth onboarding, handle queries and service requests, and proactively cross-sell and up-sell relevant solutions. Daily responsibilities also include tracking performance against targets, using CRM and digital tools, and adhering to regulatory and company compliance guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Strong relationship management and customer service skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and build long-term trust.
  • Sales and business development capabilities, including lead generation, negotiation, closing, and achieving defined targets in financial services or related domains.
  • Good communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in explaining complex insurance and investment concepts in clear, simple language.
  • Comfort with digital tools, CRM systems, and data entry, along with basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of life insurance products, financial planning concepts, or previous experience in insurance, banking, or NBFC roles is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, with strong time management, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
  • Minimum qualification: Graduate degree in any discipline; a postgraduate degree or relevant certifications in finance or insurance (e.g
