KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* *Platform Footprint Governance:* Managing, scaling, and safeguarding the network's comprehensive social media footprint across major platforms (Meta/Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, YouTube, and emerging channels).
* *News-First Content Architecture:* Creating, curating, and publishing highly engaging, high-retention text, graphic, and video assets optimized for a fast-breaking, news-first digital audience.
* *Audience Growth & Traffic Acceleration:* Developing and deploying data-backed content distribution blueprints to aggressively expand organic audience reach, increase engagement metrics, and drive referral traffic back to core web properties.
* *Meta Monetization Optimization:* Strategizing, executing, and continuously optimizing platform-native monetization tools—including Meta In-Stream Ads, Reels Play bonuses, and branded content modules—to scale digital revenue lines.
* *Analytical Diagnostics & Trend Spotting:* Keeping a real-time pulse on shifting social algorithms, trending cultural hooks, and breaking national search topics; translating social analytics tools into actionable daily publishing tactics.
* *Newsroom Synergy Coordination:* Partnering dynamically with internal core editorial desks, real-time reporting units, and multimedia creative teams to guarantee timely, accurate, and high-impact content execution.


Requirements


* *Experience Base:* 5–7 years of progressive, verified professional success operating as a Social Media Specialist, Platform Lead, or Digital Growth Manager explicitly within a *Mainstream Digital Newsroom, Broadcast Media House, or Scale Digital Publishing Network*.
* *Monetization Fluency:* Direct, hands-on experience navigating the backend rules of Meta Creator Studio/Meta Business Suite, copyright compliance, and digital revenue structures.
* *Core Competencies:* Stellar news judgment, high agility to handle real-time breaking events, strong shorthand copy capabilities, and a deep working familiarity with digital analytics dashboards.
* *Attributes:* A data-driven yet execution-focused mindset, strong cross-team collaboration skills, and the resilience to operate smoothly under tight digital media deadlines.
