About the Team:

Sea group is seeking research scientists to join Sea AI Lab (SAIL). SAIL focuses on fundamental research and application research on Artificial Intelligence (AI), which include deep learning, machine learning, computer vision, etc. The role of a research scientist is to design novel models and propose new general-purpose algorithms that help machines perceive, think, and act in the world. The ideal candidate should have an enthusiasm in advancing the understanding of intelligence and a passion for ambitious breakthroughs in AI. Job Description:

• Conduct cutting-edge research in artificial intelligence, exploring fundamental research on machine learning systems, generative models including language models, AI for science and trustworthy AI.
• Work with long-term research objectives while setting and achieving intermediate milestones
• Publish research work at leading AI conferences and journals that contribute to advancements of the field.
• Contribute to group projects aligned with strategic priorities of Sea AI Lab.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Research experience in AI within academic, industry or government settings, with primary emphasis on AI research
• Ph.D in computer science, statistics, mathematics or related fields
• First-author publications in top AI conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, ACL etc) or journals (e.g., JMLR), or publications in prominent science journals (e.g., Cell, Nature, Science).
• Proficiency in differentiable programming frameworks, JAX or Pytorch
• (Preferred) Research work that has influenced the AI community, demonstrated through citations, real-world applications or adoption in academic/industry projects
• (Preferred) Recognition through best paper awards or equivalent honors at top AI conferences
• (Preferred) Proven success in international academic competitions
