Role Description The Restaurant Captain at Perfect Digital HR’s client location in Gurugram is a full-time, on-site role responsible for overseeing daily restaurant floor operations. This position leads and coordinates the service team, ensuring smooth table service, adherence to standards, and a welcoming environment for guests. The Restaurant Captain manages reservations and seating plans, supports staff during peak hours, and addresses guest requests or concerns promptly. The role includes monitoring food and beverage presentation, coordinating with kitchen and bar teams, and ensuring hygiene and safety guidelines are followed. The Restaurant Captain also trains and mentors team members, supports inventory checks, and helps maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Qualifications
  • Strong supervisory skills with experience leading and coaching restaurant or hospitality teams.
  • Proven focus on customer satisfaction and customer service, with the ability to handle guest feedback professionally.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with guests, team members, and management.
  • Solid understanding of food & beverage service standards, menu knowledge, and basic restaurant operations.
  • Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment as a Captain, Supervisor, or similar role.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by restaurant operations.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Diploma or certificate in hotel management or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
