Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales & Marketing Manager – Solar EPC based in Gurugram. The role involves driving sales of solar power plants, BESS, inverters, EV charging solutions, and renewable energy EPC services by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and managing the sales pipeline. The Sales & Marketing Manager will develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns, prepare proposals and techno-commercial offers, conduct market research, and support brand positioning in the renewable energy sector. Daily activities include coordinating with engineering and project teams, attending client meetings and industry events, negotiating contracts, and tracking performance metrics to meet revenue and growth targets. The role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate project scoping and customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
Qualifications
  • Strong sales and business development skills in solar EPC or renewable energy, including lead generation, pipeline management, and client relationship building.
  • Experience in marketing strategy, digital marketing, campaign execution, and brand positioning within B2B or energy-focused markets.
  • Sound understanding of solar power systems, EPC processes, BESS, inverters, and EV charging solutions, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in market research, competitor analysis, and pricing strategy to support data-driven decision-making and growth planning.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with strong proficiency in English and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field; a postgraduate degree or MBA in Marketing or Energy Management is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in solar EPC or renewable energy sales and marketing, preferably in utility-scale, commercial, or industrial projects.
  • Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, manage multiple projects, and meet targets in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
