Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The Sales Engineer will engage with industrial customers to understand their machining and production requirements, propose suitable tooling and consumable solutions, and prepare quotations and commercial offers. Daily responsibilities include conducting technical product demonstrations, supporting customers with application-related issues, and coordinating with internal teams for order processing and delivery follow-up. The role involves regular customer visits, maintaining relationships with existing accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and tracking sales performance against targets. The Sales Engineer will also provide basic technical training to customers’ teams and collect market feedback to support product and service improvements.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and Sales Engineering skills, with the ability to convert technical requirements into practical solutions and commercial opportunities.
- Experience providing Technical Support to industrial customers, including troubleshooting tooling and application issues.
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to build long-term, trust-based relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven track record in Sales within industrial supplies, tooling, or manufacturing environments.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience in metal cutting tools or industrial consumables.
- Comfortable working on-site and visiting customer facilities; valid ability to travel locally as required.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team.
- Knowledge of CNC machining, cutting parameters, and production processes will be an advantage.
