Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Sales Engineer at Saru Silver Alloy Private Limited. The Sales Engineer will identify and develop new business opportunities, manage existing accounts, and promote the company’s brazing alloys and fluxes to customers across target industries. Daily responsibilities include understanding customer applications, preparing technical and commercial proposals, delivering product presentations and demonstrations, and coordinating with internal technical and production teams to ensure timely and accurate solutions. The role involves providing pre- and post-sales technical support, handling customer inquiries, and resolving application-related issues in collaboration with the technical team. The Sales Engineer will also track market trends, competitors, and customer feedback to support continuous improvement and sales strategy.

Qualifications

  • Strong Sales Engineering and technical application skills, with the ability to translate customer requirements into appropriate product solutions.
  • Proven experience in Sales and business development, ideally in industrial, metallurgical, or manufacturing environments.
  • Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to build long-term, trust-based relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience providing Technical Support, including troubleshooting, product recommendations, and on-call assistance for customer projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Metallurgy, Materials, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Comfort working in a remote setup, with strong self-organization, time management, and digital collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with brazing processes, alloys, or related industrial materials is highly preferred.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events as needed, subject to business requirements.
