Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in Odisha, India. The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the agricultural and feed-related commodities market, while maintaining and growing existing client relationships. Daily activities include meeting with prospective and current clients, understanding their product requirements, preparing quotations, and negotiating pricing and terms within company guidelines. The role also involves coordinating with the operations and logistics teams to ensure timely order processing, delivery, and resolution of any service issues. The Sales Executive will track sales performance, prepare regular reports, gather market and competitor insights, and contribute to sales strategies and forecasts.
Qualifications
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and account management skills, with the ability to build and sustain long-term client relationships.
  • Solid communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders.
  • Basic analytical and reporting abilities, including comfort with sales metrics, forecasting, and using spreadsheets or CRM tools.
  • Understanding of agricultural and feed-related commodities, or willingness to quickly learn sector-specific products and supply chain dynamics.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and organized, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities on-site.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in sales.
  • Previous sales experience in commodities, agriculture, or related B2B markets is preferred.
  • Fluency in English and local/regional languages in Odisha, and readiness to travel within the region as required.
