Job Purpose
  • To drive solar power sales by executing business development activities, managing client relationships, generating leads, and achieving assigned sales targets while promoting solar energy solutions across designated regions.
Job Responsibilities
  • Execute solar sales and business development activities in assigned territories as per defined targets and plans.
  • Identify and engage potential customers for rooftop and ground-mounted solar power solutions.
  • Generate leads through market research, cold calling, site visits, networking, and referrals.
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and ensure regular follow-ups for closures.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure trust, retention, and repeat business.
  • Understand customer energy requirements and propose suitable solar solutions.
  • Prepare, present, and explain techno-commercial proposals to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and close sales deals in line with company guidelines.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, execution, finance) to ensure smooth project handover and execution.
  • Track sales activities, maintain customer data, and update sales records regularly.
  • Prepare and submit periodic sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to management.
  • Stay updated on solar market trends, competitor activity, and regional opportunities.
Experience & Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate in any discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in solar sales or renewable energy sales.
