Job Summary

  • The Sales Executive will be responsible for promoting and selling educational books, learning resources, digital solutions, and academic programs to schools. The role involves building strong relationships with school leaders, teachers, coordinators, and decision-makers to drive adoption of the company's educational products.


Key Responsibilities:

School Outreach & Relationship Building

  • Visit schools regularly within the assigned territory.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Principals, Coordinators, HODs, and Teachers.
  • Understand school curriculum requirements and recommend suitable products.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations.


Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Generate new leads and convert prospective schools into customers.
  • Identify opportunities for book adoptions and institutional sales.
  • Increase market penetration within the assigned territory.


Product Promotion

  • Promote textbooks, supplementary books, assessment tools, digital learning platforms, and teacher resources.
  • Organize book exhibitions, workshops, orientations, and school events.
  • Distribute sample copies and marketing materials.
  • Conduct teacher engagement activities.


Order Management

  • Collect and process school orders.
  • Coordinate with distributors, warehouses, and internal teams for timely delivery.
  • Ensure accurate order tracking and follow-up.


Market Intelligence

  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and product launches.
  • Gather feedback from schools regarding products and services.
  • Share market insights with management.


Customer Support

  • Resolve school queries and concerns promptly.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Build long-term partnerships with educational institutions.


Reporting

  • Maintain daily visit reports.
  • Update CRM and sales records.
  • Submit weekly and monthly sales reports.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree (Any Discipline)
  • MBA / Sales & Marketing preferred
  • Experience in Educational Publishing, EdTech, FMCG, or Institutional Sales preferred

Preferred Experience

Salary: Starting at 7 Lakhs per annum and as per experience
