Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in Kaithal. The Sales Executive will identify and qualify new residential and commercial sales leads, conduct consultations to understand customer energy needs, and present tailored solar solutions. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering proposals, managing the end-to-end sales cycle, negotiating terms within company guidelines, and closing deals. The role also involves maintaining accurate records in the CRM system, coordinating with installation and operations teams to ensure smooth project handover, and following up with customers to support long-term relationships and referrals. The Sales Executive is expected to stay informed about solar products, pricing, incentives, and market trends to effectively communicate value to customers.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in field sales, business development, or account management, preferably in solar, renewable energy, or related technical products.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse customers.
  • Ability to understand and explain basic technical and financial aspects of solar solutions, including system benefits and return on investment.
  • Skilled in lead generation, pipeline management, and using CRM tools to track activities and opportunities.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Comfortable working on-site and traveling locally within and around Kaithal for client meetings and site visits.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple prospects and priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Knowledge of the solar industry, local regulations, and available incentives is an advantage.
