Position Summary
The Sales Manager International Markets is responsible for leading, managing, and driving performance of a large remote sales team supporting the U.S. market. This role has full ownership and accountability for team performance, productivity, and revenue outcomes.
The ideal candidate brings extensive experience working with international clients, specifically the U.S. market, and has a proven track record of managing large inside sales teams (3040 representatives) in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. This is a remote, night-shift role, aligned with U.S. business hours.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Team Leadership & Performance Accountability
- Lead, manage, and coach a team of approximately 3040 sales representatives supporting the U.S. market
- Own full accountability for team performance, productivity, quality, and sales outcomes
- Set clear daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs, including call volume, conversions, pipeline health, revenue contribution, and customer retention
- Conduct regular performance reviews, one-on-one coaching sessions, and corrective action plans as needed
- Build and sustain a high-performance, results-driven, and accountable sales culture
Sales Execution & Market Focus (U.S. Market)
- Oversee execution of sales strategies aligned with Medivants commercial objectives in the U.S. market
- Ensure consistent sales messaging, compliance adherence, and customer engagement standards
- Monitor sales pipelines, forecasts, and performance dashboards to ensure targets are met
- Support escalation handling for high-value accounts and complex customer situations
Training, Development & Quality Assurance
- Ensure continuous training for the sales team on product knowledge, compliance, CRM usage, objection handling, and customer communication
- Identify skill gaps and implement targeted coaching and training initiatives
- Partner with QA and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory and company standards
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with U.S.-based stakeholders, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer Support teams
- Share market feedback, performance insights, and customer trends with leadership
- Support rollout of sales initiatives, process improvements, and technology enhancements
Qualifications
Required:
- 7-10 years of experience in sales leadership, with significant exposure to international and U.S. markets
- Proven experience managing large inside sales or call center teams (30–40+ members)
- Strong understanding of U.S. business culture, customer expectations, and sales processes
- Demonstrated ability to drive performance, accountability, and measurable results
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and people management skills
- Strong analytical skills with experience tracking KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics
- Willingness and ability to work night shifts aligned to U.S. time zones
Preferred:
- Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or regulated industries
- Experience working in remote or distributed team environments
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales performance tools
