Company Description UBI Services Limited (UBISL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Union Bank of India, a leading public sector bank headquartered in Mumbai. Established in 1999 as a primary dealer in government securities and treasury bills, the company has evolved into a diversified financial services provider. UBISL is active in institutional broking, mutual fund distribution, and trading/investment in commercial papers, certificates of deposit, treasury bills, and other government debt securities. The company is expanding its business to offer doorstep services for housing and vehicle loans as a distribution arm of Union Bank of India. UBISL delivers end-to-end financial solutions, supporting individuals from property or car search consultations through to loan arrangement.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Officer role based in Rajkot. The Sales Officer will be responsible for identifying and engaging prospective clients for housing and vehicle loans, conducting client meetings, and explaining loan products and related financial solutions. The role includes generating leads through various channels, following up on inquiries, and coordinating with Union Bank of India branches and internal teams to ensure smooth loan processing. The Sales Officer will maintain accurate records of client interactions, prepare basic sales reports, and work to achieve assigned sales targets. The position also involves providing high-quality customer service, addressing client queries, and supporting clients throughout the loan application and approval process.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills, with a focus on building long-term client relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Candidates should possess Lead Generation and Channel Sales skills to identify prospects, leverage partner networks, and expand the client base.
  • Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, and the ability to explain financial products in simple terms.
  • Candidates should possess Sales Operations skills to manage pipelines, track applications, and support timely completion of sales processes.
  • Relevant experience in retail banking, financial services, or loan products is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of housing and vehicle loan processes and documentation requirements is beneficial.
  • Ability to work on-site in Rajkot, meet field travel requirements, and collaborate with branch and back-office teams.
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related field is advantageous.
