Role Description

The SAP BO Consultant (SAP Analytics Cloud) role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Bengaluru, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The consultant will design, develop, and maintain SAP BusinessObjects reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions, with a strong focus on SAP Analytics Cloud. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering business requirements, translating them into robust reporting and analytics models, managing data integration and master data consistency, and optimizing business processes through data-driven insights. The role also involves advising stakeholders on best practices, performing system testing and troubleshooting, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support ongoing enhancements.

Profile Requirements

• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data, identify trends, and support business decision-making.
• Consulting experience with the ability to engage stakeholders, elicit requirements, and propose effective SAP BO and SAP Analytics Cloud solutions.
• Knowledge of business processes, with the ability to map requirements to reporting and analytics capabilities in SAP environments.
• Experience managing and maintaining master data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reporting systems.
• Hands-on expertise with integration between SAP BO, SAP Analytics Cloud, and other data sources or enterprise applications.
• Proficiency in SAP BusinessObjects tools (WebI, Universe design, Lumira or similar) and SAP Analytics Cloud configuration and modeling.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in hybrid teams and meet project deadlines.
• Experience in enterprise reporting, BI/analytics projects, and familiarity with data warehousing concepts is beneficial.
