SAP PS Consultant (S/4HANA) Experience

• 7+ years of experience in SAP Project System (PS) consulting.
• Minimum of 2 full lifecycle SAP implementation projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
  
  

Roles & Responsibilities Investment Planning & CAPEX Management

• Configure and support Investment Programs, Investment Positions, and Appropriation Requests.
• Manage budget distribution, releases, and investment planning processes.
• Support annual and multi-year investment budgeting activities.
  
  

SAP Project System (PS)

• Configure Project Profiles, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), and Networks.
• Design and implement project structures for capital investment projects.
• Map investment programs to project execution structures.
• Support end-to-end capital project lifecycle management.
  
  

Budgeting & Availability Control

• Configure Budget Profiles and Availability Control (AVC).
• Define tolerance limits and manage budget supplements and returns.
• Monitor budget utilization and ensure budget compliance.
  
  

Cost Planning & Forecasting

• Perform primary cost planning and activity planning.
• Configure and support Easy Cost Planning (ECP).
• Conduct forecasting, budget revisions, and plan vs. actual variance analysis.
  
  

Settlement & Asset Capitalization

• Configure settlement rules for WBS to Asset Under Construction (AUC) and AUC to Fixed Assets.
• Support month-end and year-end settlement activities.
• Ensure compliance with capitalization and accounting requirements.
  
  

Integration & Solution Delivery

• Integrate SAP PS with Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Investment Management (IM), Materials Management (MM), and Asset Accounting (AA).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for solution design and implementation.
• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, test scripts, and user documentation.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover activities, hypercare, and production support.
  
  

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

• Conduct business workshops and requirement gathering sessions.
• Provide functional consulting and process improvement recommendations.
• Deliver user training and knowledge transfer sessions.
  
  

Must Have

• 7+ years of SAP Project System (PS) consulting experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Investment Planning and CAPEX management.

• Experience supporting UAT, production support, and hypercare activities.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Minimum of two end-to-end SAP implementation projects.
  

Good to Have

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations and migration projects.
• Experience in SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications.
• Experience with CDS Views and Embedded Analytics.
• Understanding of Universal Journal concepts.
• SAP certifications in:
• SAP Project System (PS)
• SAP S/4HANA
• SAP Investment Management (IM)
• Experience working in Agile project environments.
• Experience delivering user training and conducting business workshops.
• Exposure to enterprise reporting and analytics solutions.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and global teams.
