Science Learning Facilitator (Asst)
Sparkling Mindz Global
Job Description
Learning Facilitator (Asst) - Social Studies- Sparkling Mindz Global School
Who We Are
We live in a world that is changing quickly. Schools need to prepare children not just for exams but for life. At Sparkling Mindz, we create learning experiences that inspire curiosity, build thinking skills and nurture responsible, creative young people.
We are a Reggio-Emilia inspired, game-based, purpose-driven school founded by alumni from Harvard, IIM and ISB. Our work focuses on helping children grow as thinkers, explorers and contributors to the world around them.
We believe that learning transforms when adults grow alongside children, and when every classroom becomes a place where questions, perspectives and possibilities are welcomed.
The Role: Learning Facilitator (Asst) – Social Studies
Grades: Primary - High School
Location: Kannuru, Hennur Bagalur Road, North Bangalore
Type: Full-time
Timings: Monday to Friday 7:45 AM to 5:30 PM and alternate Saturdays
Our Philosophy
Keeping the child in the center is our north star. It shapes how we design, teach and reflect. Most of us grew up in environments where adults defined the learning journey. At Sparkling Mindz, we shift this by seeing children as capable individuals with questions, ideas and ways of understanding the world that deserve attention and respect.
This shift takes intention and practice. You will be a good fit if you are ready to grow in the following ways:
Seeing children as capable humans
You trust that children can think, question and take responsibility when given space, voice and support.
Designing from the child’s experience
You observe how children think and learn, and use these insights to shape your lessons, activities and materials.
Creating space for children’s voices
You encourage conversations, reflections and multiple perspectives. You invite children to participate in shaping their learning.
Responding with empathy and patience
You work with children through uncertainty and mistakes. You stay focused on long-term growth rather than quick outcomes.
Staying curious about learning
You refine your designs and facilitation based on what you notice. Your plans grow with the children, not the other way around.
Doing the inner work
You reflect on your beliefs, reactions and patterns so you can respond with clarity, care and a learning mindset.
This is the foundation of our approach and shapes the day-to-day experience of the role.
What You Will Do
You will design and facilitate learning experiences that help children understand themselves, their society and the world. This includes:
- Planning child-centered learning experiences aligned with our pedagogy
- Designing lessons, activities, games and provocations that spark curiosity and inquiry
- Facilitating sessions that build understanding through discussion, collaboration and exploration
- Observing, documenting and reflecting on children's learning
- Working with facilitators from other disciplines to create connected learning experiences
