Senior Accountant

Salary: ₹45,000 – ₹75,000 per month (Based on experience)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Manager to independently manage accounting operations for assigned client engagements. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting fundamentals, practical knowledge of GST and taxation, and experience working with accounting software such as Zoho Books, Tally Prime, or similar ERP systems.

The role requires ownership of monthly book closures, financial reporting, review of accounting work, and regular coordination with clients and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate financial deliverables.

• Independently manage end-to-end accounting for 1–2 assigned client entities.
• Review accounting entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation prepared by junior accountants.
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual book closures.
• Prepare and review MIS reports, financial statements, cash flow reports, and other management reports.
• Perform bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with client management to resolve accounting queries and obtain required information.
• Work closely with internal managers and Virtual CFO teams to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Support statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits by providing accurate financial records.
• Mentor junior accountants and review their work to maintain quality standards.
• Prepare daily and weekly status reports for internal management.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiency.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CA Inter, CMA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage.
• 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Practical knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
• Hands-on experience with Zoho Books, Tally Prime, or other accounting ERP software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and client coordination skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and meet strict monthly reporting deadlines.
