Senior Leader - International B2B Business Development in Market Research & Management Consulting

📍 Gurgaon Sec-58 (Work from Office)

About the Role We're looking for a seasoned BD leader to drive our international B2B growth owning the full revenue cycle from prospecting and C-suite engagement to closure and account expansion, with a focus on market research and consulting mandates globally.


Key Responsibilities

▪ Build and execute international B2B sales strategy across priority verticals

▪ Lead full pursuit cycles, prospecting, proposals, negotiation, closure

▪ Manage CXO/VP-level relationships, positioning Apelo's capabilities as strategic solutions

▪ Craft customized proposals and pitches

▪ Partner with practice leads on research methodologies and solutions

▪ Maintain pipeline discipline via CRM (HubSpot preferred) with accurate forecasting

▪ Track market intelligence and competitive trends

▪ Exceed quarterly revenue targets; grow accounts via upsell/cross-sell

▪ Support GTM strategy with marketing on ABM campaigns


What You Bring

▪ 8–10 years B2B sales experience closing complex international deals

▪ Track record of ₹20Cr+ annual revenue across industries, Pan India

▪ Deep expertise in market research (quant, qual, panels, brand tracking) and/or management consulting essential

▪ Proven ability to influence CXO/CMO/VP-level stakeholders

▪ Consistent record of hitting/exceeding revenue targets

▪ Strong CRM (HubSpot), LinkedIn Sales Navigator & prospecting tech skills

▪ Sector knowledge in CPG/FMCG, BFSI, Healthcare, or ITES

▪ Strategic thinker with commercial rigor
