Role Description The Senior Business Development Manager — Interiors & Architecture is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities within the interiors and architecture ecosystem, including partnerships with architects, interior designers, real estate developers, and corporate clients. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and lead generation, managing client relationships, preparing and delivering proposals and presentations, and negotiating commercial terms to close strategic deals. The role also involves collaborating with design, marketing, and operations teams to ensure project requirements are met, client expectations are understood, and brand positioning is consistent across channels. The Senior Business Development Manager will monitor market trends, competitors, and client feedback to refine business development strategies and drive sustainable revenue growth.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in business development, sales, or account management within interiors, architecture, real estate, or premium lifestyle sectors.
  • Strong skills in client relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation, with the ability to build long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Ability to develop and execute sales strategies, including pipeline management, forecasting, and performance tracking using CRM tools.
  • Understanding of interior design and architecture concepts, with the ability to translate client requirements into tailored product and solution offerings.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in preparing proposals and conducting client meetings.
  • Proven capability to work on-site with cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and meet timelines and revenue targets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Design, Architecture, or a related field; a master’s degree or equivalent professional experience is an advantage.
  • Comfort with market research and competitive analysis to identify new business opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
  • High degree of self-motivation, professionalism, and ethical conduct, with readiness to travel locally for client visits and industry events.
