Role Description The Senior Design Engineer will be responsible for leading the design and development of water treatment and packaging systems, ensuring that solutions meet performance, safety, and quality standards. This full-time, on-site role based in Rajkot involves creating and reviewing engineering designs, preparing detailed CAD models and drawings, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in mechanical, electrical, and production departments. The Senior Design Engineer will oversee prototype development, support installation and commissioning activities, and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing project requirements, optimizing product designs for manufacturability and cost efficiency, resolving design-related issues, and maintaining documentation in line with company and industry standards.
Qualifications

• Strong Design Engineering and Product Design skills for developing complete systems and components.
• Solid Mechanical Engineering expertise for machinery, piping, structures, and packaging solutions.
• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling, detailing, and drafting.
• Foundational Electrical Engineering knowledge for integrating controls, instrumentation, and power systems.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in industrial equipment, water treatment, beverage, or packaging machinery design.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, standards, and customer requirements and convert them into practical designs.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project coordination skills, with attention to detail and quality.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
