Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Role

Acveti is looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team supporting a large-scale cloud-native environment. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes-based deployments on AWS. You will work closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to deliver secure, reliable, and highly available applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Jenkins Pipeline-as-Code for automated CI/CD workflows.
• Provision, configure, and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Deploy, upgrade, and manage applications on Kubernetes (EKS) using Helm Charts.
• Build and maintain containerized environments using Docker and Docker Compose.
• Administer Linux servers and automate operational tasks using Bash and Python scripting.
• Manage and optimize AWS services, including VPC, IAM, IRSA, EKS, RDS, and networking components.
• Configure and maintain JFrog Artifactory for artifact management.
• Ensure application availability, performance, scalability, and operational reliability.
• Collaborate with Development and QA teams to streamline release processes and deployment automation.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and production issues.
• Implement infrastructure best practices, security standards, and monitoring solutions.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance DevOps processes and platform stability.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including VPC, IAM, IRSA, EKS, RDS, and Networking.
• Expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm Charts.
• Experience with Docker and Docker Compose.
• Hands-on experience building Jenkins Pipeline-as-Code.
• Strong Linux administration skills.
• Proficiency in Bash and Python scripting.
• Experience with JFrog Artifactory.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD implementation and deployment automation.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
