About the Role:

The Associate App & Retail AI team at ACI is building the internal associate-facing application used by 200,000+ employees across 2,300+ stores. The app is a critical operational tool covering scheduling, time-off management, benefits, and an AI-powered onboarding chatbot — available across both mobile and iPad. We are looking for a Senior Digital Product Manager to build product strategy and execution for this platform from our Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Bangalore, working in close partnership with US-based product, engineering, UX, and business leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Ownership:

  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle — from discovery and strategy through delivery and continuous iteration.
  • Define and evolve product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business goals and operational needs.
  • Identify high-impact opportunities through user insights, data analysis, and stakeholder inputs.
  • Balance short-term delivery with long-term platform scalability and innovation.

AI & Data-Driven Product Development:

  • Define and drive AI-powered product capabilities, including conversational AI, automation, and intelligent recommendations.
  • Partner with Data Science and ML teams to translate models into usable, valuable product experiences.
  • Ensure AI features are user-centric, measurable, and aligned with responsible AI principles (transparency, trust, feedback loops).
  • Leverage product analytics, experimentation (A/B testing), and behavioral data to inform decisions and optimize outcomes.
  • Stay current with emerging AI trends, tools, and product patterns to continuously evolve the roadmap.

Execution & Delivery:

  • Lead feature prioritization across scheduling, time-off, benefits, and AI-driven experiences.
  • Write clear product requirements, PRDs, and user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
  • Own backlog management, sprint planning, and prioritization in Agile environments.
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Design to ensure high-quality execution and timely delivery.

User-Centered Product Development:

  • Collaborate with UX researchers and designers to deeply understand associate workflows and pain points.
  • Advocate for user-centric solutions, especially for frontline retail employees with diverse digital literacy levels.
  • Ensure usability, accessibility, and simplicity remain core to all product decisions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Workforce Management (WFM), Retail Operations, Supply Chain, and HR stakeholders.
  • Align cross-functional teams around priorities, tradeoffs, and outcomes.
  • Act as the central point of coordination across business, design, engineering, and data teams.

Metrics, Insights & Impact:

  • Define success metrics (KPIs, OKRs) and track product performance post-launch.
  • Use dashboards, analytics tools, and user feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Communicate progress, insights, and tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders and leadership.

Leadership & Communication:

  • Present product strategy, roadmap, and business impact to senior leadership and executives.
  • Drive alignment across global teams (GCC and US-based stakeholders).
  • Mentor junior product managers and contribute to building a strong product culture.

Risk Management & Operational Excellence:

  • Identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks early; proactively drive resolution.
  • Ensure product decisions consider scalability, reliability, and operational constraints in retail environments.

Experience Required:

  • 8–10 years of product management experience, with demonstrable ownership of mobile or enterprise application products.
  • Proven track record of end-to-end Agile product delivery — from discovery through launch and iteration.
  • Experience working across distributed, cross-functional teams including engineering, UX, data, and business stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Retail, Supply Chain, or Workforce Management domains is strongly preferred.
  • Exposure to AI/ML product features, chatbot flows, or conversational AI integrations is a plus.
  • Strong executive communication skills — ability to present clearly to senior leadership and influence decisions at all levels.
