Senior Full Stack Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with strong experience in Backend Engineering and System Architecture. We are looking for proficiency in React/Next.js, designing high-concurrency backend services, managing distributed infrastructure, and architecting scalable systems from the ground up. You will play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing systems that support Globeia's global platform, ensuring performance, reliability, and security at scale.

Responsibilities

• Architectural Leadership: Design scalable, secure systems using Microservices or Event-Driven patterns.
• Backend Excellence: Build high-performance APIs and services using Node.js or Golang.
• Orchestration: Lead containerization strategy using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Database Design: Architect complex SQL and NoSQL schemas, optimizing for high-throughput and data integrity.
• Performance: Implement caching (Redis) and indexing to ensure sub-second API latency.
• DevOps & Security: Build automated CI/CD pipelines and implement security protocols.
• Full Stack Integration: Ensure seamless integration between React frontends and complex backend ecosystems.
• Collaboration: Partner with product managers, architects, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Best Practices: Champion coding standards, secure development practices.
• Mentorship: Guide junior engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 4+ years in Full Stack development, with 2+ years focused on backend architecture.
• Technical Mastery: Expertise in Node.js/Golang (concurrency, streams) and TypeScript/Next.js.
• System Design: Drive architectural decisions, ensuring system scalability, security, and fault tolerance.
• Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes.
• Data & Security: Strong knowledge of database internals, horizontal scaling, and OWASP security standards.
