Senior HubSpot Developer

Actively Reviewing

NEXA - Digital Marketing

India Full-Time 4–8 yrs exp Posted 2 days ago  · Apply by Sep 16, 2026

NEXA is looking for an experienced Senior HubSpot Developer to own the technical build and delivery of HubSpot website and CMS engagements from end to end. You will be the technical backbone of the HubSpot and Web team, translating approved designs into high-performing, pixel-accurate HubSpot builds, developing custom modules and themes, and standing behind the quality of everything that ships. You will work alongside designers, project managers, and integration specialists, but the technical execution and the standard it is held to are yours.

This is a role for someone who has built complex HubSpot CMS sites before, who reasons about structure and performance rather than just assembling pages, and who can be trusted to deliver clean, maintainable code under real client timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

HubSpot Development and Delivery

  • Build and launch HubSpot CMS and Content Hub websites from approved designs, including themes, templates, flexible modules, and custom modules using HubL.
  • Develop reusable, well-structured components and templates that speed up future builds.
  • Implement HubDB-driven and dynamic content, serverless functions, and custom functionality where required.
  • Translate Figma designs into pixel-accurate, fully responsive builds across all breakpoints and browsers.
  • Own build quality: no console errors, clean markup, and accessible, standards-compliant code.

Performance, QA and Standards

  • Ensure every page meets Core Web Vitals thresholds and NEXA's performance and quality gates before it reaches the client.
  • Maintain high code-QA compliance and keep bugs per feature to a minimum.
  • Conduct code reviews for other developers and approve pull requests against the team's coding standards.
  • Monitor deployed sites for performance, uptime, and health, and resolve issues quickly.

Integrations and Automation

  • Build and maintain integrations between HubSpot and third-party systems using APIs, connectors, and tools such as Zapier or n8n.
  • Design and implement HubSpot workflows and automations that support marketing, CRM, and operational needs.
  • Support data migrations and CRM configuration as part of onboarding and implementation projects.

Team Coordination and Handover

  • Work closely with designers, project managers, and integration specialists to ensure a smooth design-to-dev-to-HubSpot handover.
  • Produce clean handover documentation so clients and internal teams can operate and update their sites independently.
  • Flag blockers and risks early, and help scope technical effort accurately during planning.
  • Contribute to the team's component library, templates, and development standards.

What We Are Looking For:

  • 4+ years of hands-on web development experience, with at least 2 to 3 years building on HubSpot CMS and Content Hub in an agency or consultancy setting.
  • Strong command of HubL, the HubSpot theme and module architecture, HubDB, and the HubSpot CMS build workflow.
  • Expert front-end skills: HTML, CSS and SCSS, JavaScript, and responsive, cross-browser development.
  • A demonstrable track record of launching HubSpot sites that are fast, accurate to design, and free of quality issues.
  • Working knowledge of the wider HubSpot ecosystem: Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, Service Hub, and CRM configuration.
  • Experience integrating HubSpot with third-party systems via APIs and connectors.
  • Solid understanding of Core Web Vitals, page performance, and web QA best practice.
  • Ability to estimate accurately and deliver multiple concurrent builds on time.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Good To Have:

  • HubSpot certifications across CMS, Workflows, CRM, and related tracks.
  • Experience with serverless functions and advanced custom HubSpot functionality.
  • Familiarity with modern frameworks and stacks such as React and Node, and other CMS platforms.
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub.
  • MENA market experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
