Role Description The Senior HVAC Design role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. This role is responsible for designing HVAC systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects, including load calculations, equipment selection, ducting layouts, and piping designs. The Senior HVAC Designer will coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and clients to ensure that designs meet project requirements, safety standards, and energy-efficiency goals. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing project specifications, preparing detailed design drawings, providing technical guidance during installation, and supporting troubleshooting and design modifications as needed. The position also involves ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards, maintaining documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement of design practices.
Qualifications

• Strong HVAC design and system planning skills, including experience with load calculations, equipment selection, and layout design.
• Working knowledge of plumbing systems related to HVAC installations and integration.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting HVAC and related mechanical issues during design review and project execution.
• Commitment to excellent customer service, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Experience in planning and supporting preventive maintenance strategies for HVAC systems.
• Relevant technical degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC design software and CAD tools.
• Understanding of local building codes, safety regulations, and energy-efficiency standards.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Prior experience in a senior or lead HVAC design role is highly beneficial.
