Role Description The Senior Market Research Analyst is a freelance, remote role responsible for leading market and competitive research initiatives that power PREONZ’s decision intelligence platform and customer projects. This role involves designing and executing market research frameworks, analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, and synthesizing findings into clear, actionable insights for strategy, product, and investment teams. The analyst will evaluate global markets, assess growth and competitive dynamics, and support scenario modeling to inform client and internal decisions. Day-to-day work includes structuring datasets, validating data sources, building market models, and preparing concise reports, dashboards, and presentations. The Senior Market Research Analyst will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to refine methodologies, improve research workflows, and contribute to product and content strategy.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Market Research and Market Analysis, including sizing, segmentation, and competitive landscape assessment.
- Advanced Analytical Skills and Research capabilities, with experience structuring complex datasets and using data to test assumptions and scenarios.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to translate complex findings into concise narratives, visualizations, and recommendations for non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency with analytics and research tools (e.g., Excel/Sheet, survey platforms, and secondary research databases).
- Experience in B2B, SaaS, strategy consulting, investment research, or similar analytical environments is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Data/Analytics, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines with high-quality output.
- Comfort working in an early-stage, fast-evolving setting and contributing to process, methodology, and product improvements.
