The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in a product-led, consumer internet company, and has owned retention metrics end-to-end.

This role will directly impact Univest’s DAU/WAU/MAU, user stickiness, repeat usage, and long-term engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the retention and engagement charter across the Univest app.
  • Analyse funnels, cohorts, user journeys, and behaviour patterns to identify drop-offs and opportunities.
  • Build and optimize onboarding, activation, habit-building, churn prevention, and win-back journeys.
  • Drive rapid A/B tests, experiments, and iterations to improve engagement and reduce churn.
  • Work hands-on with retention & analytics tools (Mixpanel/Amplitude/MoEngage/WebEngage/Clevertap etc.).
  • Partner with Design, Engineering, Data, CRM, and Growth teams to ship impactful features quickly.
  • Build PRDs, user flows, and sprint plans with clarity and data-backed reasoning.
  • Benchmark top global consumer apps and bring innovative retention models into the product roadmap.
  • Own retention KPIs: activation rate, DAU/WAU ratio, feature stickiness, session frequency, cohort retention, and churn reduction.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Product Management experience in B2C product companies (fintech, content, social, commerce, gaming preferred).
  • Proven ownership of retention, lifecycle, engagement, habit loops, or growth-driven product initiatives.
  • Deep comfort with data, funnel analysis, cohort metrics, and experimentation frameworks.
  • Hands-on with analytics & retention platforms (Mixpanel, Amplitude, WebEngage, MoEngage, Clevertap).
  • Strong understanding of consumer psychology, triggers, behavioural nudges, and engagement models.
  • Excellent communication, cross-functional collaboration, and execution speed.
  • Ability to think strategically while shipping fast, iterative improvements.
