Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead SAP BODS Consultant to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale data integration and migration solutions using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS). In this role, you will provide technical leadership, mentor team members, collaborate with business stakeholders, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality ETL solutions for SAP transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable ETL solutions using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS).
• Architect and optimize complex data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes across SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Drive technical design discussions and establish ETL development best practices and coding standards.
• Lead data migration activities for SAP transformation and S/4HANA implementation projects.
• Optimize job performance, troubleshoot complex production issues, and implement performance improvements.
• Oversee data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, conduct code reviews, and provide technical leadership to the team.
• Support production environments by resolving critical issues within agreed SLAs.
• Work closely with project managers to estimate effort, manage risks, and ensure timely project delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (SAP BODS).
• Strong expertise in ETL design, development, and enterprise data integration.
• Extensive experience in data migration and data warehousing concepts.
• Strong knowledge of SAP and non-SAP source systems.
• Advanced SQL skills with experience in databases such as SAP HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, or similar platforms.
• Experience in performance tuning, job optimization, and troubleshooting complex ETL processes.
• Strong understanding of data quality, validation, and reconciliation techniques.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and mentoring developers.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and global teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects.
• Exposure to SAP Data Migration methodologies and best practices.
• Knowledge of SAP BW, SAP ECC, or other SAP technologies is an advantage.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
