BMC is seeking a Senior Sourcing Analyst to support the Global Procurement organization as a scalable, AI‑enabled business partner. This role operates within a purchasing category team and is responsible for executing end‑to‑end sourcing and contracting activities while actively improving procurement efficiency, decision quality, and business confidence.

The Senior Sourcing Analyst is expected to work independently on low‑to‑moderate complexity engagements, apply judgment to risk‑based decisions, leverage standardized and self‑service procurement paths where appropriate, and identify opportunities to automate, simplify, or elevate procurement operations.

Sourcing & Contract Execution

• Independently manage procurement and contracting activities including sourcing for Facilities Category, including negotiation, statements of work, contract execution, and purchase order issuance within defined thresholds.
• Apply total cost of ownership principles (cost, quality, service, risk) to sourcing decisions.
• Support and execute category strategies in alignment with Global Procurement objectives.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, Information Security, Privacy, and other stakeholders to ensure compliant and efficient contract execution.
  
  

AI‑Enabled & Efficient Operations

• Leverage approved AI tools, workflows, and automation to streamline sourcing activities, reduce cycle times, and improve insight quality.
• Utilize standardized playbooks, templates, thresholds, and decision logic to route work appropriately (self‑service vs. analyst‑led).
• Identify repeatable, low‑risk procurement activities and recommend opportunities for automation, standardization, or policy‑based handling.
• Contribute ideas and feedback to improve procurement processes, tooling, and agent‑enabled workflows.
  
  

Business Partnership & Risk‑Based Decision Making

• Engage directly with internal business partners to understand requirements, timelines, and risk tolerance.
• Apply independent judgment to assess deal complexity and escalate appropriately when thresholds, risk, or ambiguity increase.
• Participate in stakeholder and supplier business reviews to assess performance, identify risk, and drive continuous improvement.
  
  

Supplier & Market Intelligence

• Maintain working relationships with suppliers and develop knowledge of relevant markets, innovations, and supplier capabilities.
• Support supplier performance management efforts for assigned categories or suppliers.
• Contribute data and insights for management reporting, savings tracking, and operational metrics.
  
  

Compliance & Operational Excellence

• Ensure adherence to Global Procurement policies, procedures, and financial controls.
• Execute purchasing card transactions where applicable and ensure accurate, timely reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate procurement documentation and system data to support auditability and analytics.
  
  

To ensure you are set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experienc

• 3–5 years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain, or related domain
• Demonstrated experience supporting sourcing and contracting activities in a corporate environment
• Demonstrated experience within Facilities, Data Centers Network, AV or indirect categories
• Experience working with procurement systems or ERP platforms.
  
  

Required Skills & Capabilities

• Ability to independently manage multiple sourcing engagements in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong judgment and problem‑solving skills; comfortable operating within defined policies and thresholds.
• Ability to learn, adopt, and effectively use AI‑enabled tools and standardized workflows.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Strong collaboration skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Customer‑focused, adaptable, and comfortable navigating change.
  
  

Desired (Good to Have)

• Experience with Oracle Purchasing / Procurement modules or similar ERP platforms.
• Exposure to supplier performance programs, sourcing analytics, or automation initiatives.
• Experience supporting or interacting with contingent workforce programs, MSP models, or services procurement (SOW-based engagements).

At BMC we believe in pay transparency and have set the midpoint of the salary band for this role at 1,737,400 INR. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

The salary listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
