Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, deeply technical Talent Acquisition Specialist to spearhead our hiring strategy across the Data and AI ecosystems. In this role, you won't just match keywords to resumes; you will act as a strategic partner to our engineering and data leadership teams. You will design and execute sourcing strategies to land top-tier talent fluent in Databricks, Microsoft Azure Data stacks, Advanced Analytics, and Generative AI/Machine Learning.

Core Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Partner with VPs, Directors, and Engineering Leads to understand complex technical roadmaps and translate them into actionable hiring pipelines
  • Full-Cycle Technical Recruiting: Personally manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for high-impact roles (Data Engineers, AI/ML Scientists, Cloud Architects, MLOps Engineers)
  • Niche Sourcing: Hunt for passive talent within specialized domains, including the Databricks ecosystem, Microsoft Azure cloud suite, and emerging AI/ML frameworks
  • Market Intelligence: Serve as a subject matter expert on market trends, competitor mapping, and compensation benchmarks specifically within the Data and AI sectors
  • Team Mentorship: Lead, mentor, or scale a small team of technical sourcers/recruiters, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning in modern tech stacks
  • Candidate Experience: Ensure an empathetic, transparent, and rigorous interview process that reflects our brand values and keeps top-tier talent engaged


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 10+ years in technical recruiting, with a proven track record of successfully hiring for complex Data Modernization, Cloud, and AI/ML initiatives
  • Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of the Databricks platform (Delta Lake, Lakehouse architecture) and the Microsoft Data Stack (Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric
  • AI/ML Literacy: Strong familiarity with the talent landscape surrounding Machine Learning, MLOps, LLMs, and Generative AI framework
  • Sourcing Mastery: Advanced knowledge of sourcing techniques (Boolean search, GitHub, Kaggle, Hugging Face, tech communities, and specialized forums
  • Communication: Exceptional screening and narrative-building skills—you can pitch a complex technical vision convincingly to passive, senior candidates
  • Tools: Proficiency with modern ATS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever), CRM tools, and AI-driven sourcing platforms
