Role Description The Senior Technical Sales Engineer (Industrial Automation) is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role is responsible for identifying and qualifying opportunities, conducting technical presentations and product demonstrations, and proposing automation solutions that meet client needs. Daily activities include engaging with existing and prospective customers, preparing quotations and technical proposals, and supporting contract negotiations in coordination with the sales team. The role involves close collaboration with engineering and project teams to ensure accurate solution design, timely delivery, and effective post-sales technical support. The Senior Technical Sales Engineer also monitors market trends, maintains CRM records, and contributes to sales forecasts and business development initiatives.

Qualifications
- Strong technical sales and sales engineering skills, with experience translating industrial automation requirements into practical solutions.
- Solid technical support capabilities, including troubleshooting automation systems and guiding customers through configuration and application questions.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven experience in sales within industrial automation, controls, instrumentation, or related engineering domains.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical, or related engineering field.
- Experience with PLCs, SCADA, drives, and industrial control systems is highly beneficial.
- Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple accounts and projects, and meet sales targets.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools; valid willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
