SENIOR TEST ENGINEER - Python

Description

Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools.

Experience with automated testing techniques and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).

Proficient in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).

Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#) for test automation purposes is a plus.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.

Role

Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing.

Create and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Robot Framework.

Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless CI/CD processes via Google Cloud Build (GCB).

Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like Jira or similar.

Analyze test results, debug issues, and work with development teams to resolve them.

Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives in Agile/Scrum environments.

Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices across all testing efforts.
